Availability is king and so is getting cabinets and power configured for your specific environment. SharkRack has designed its supply chain to be responsive and reliable. Additionally, SharkRack configures cabinets with power, monitoring, blanking panels and other peripherals at our configuration center to make your deployment easier.
The SharkRack Supply Chain consists of two factories (to handle peak demands), our Configuration Center (which is co-located to our factory to reduce lag time), and a smart Kanban system (to assure stock levels are balanced and positions readily known). This supply chain supports short lead times and custom configurations.
For customers who have standardized on SharkRack, we offer customer specific part numbers for that customer’s cabinet, power and monitoring configuration. This saves ordering time and simplifies the communication process. For large volume customers, we generally co-schedule big orders as part of their cabinet pre-deployment strategies. And, in some cases we also hold stock of those configurations to assure rapid availability for unplanned or urgent requirements.
